Infrared Sauna
and Kneipp Inspired Contrast Therapy
An infrared sauna is considered a dry sauna, with no humidity. It generates heat by emitting far infrared waves from panels in the walls. The infrared waves penetrate your skin and convert to thermal energy, warming you rather than just the air around you.
Infrared saunas run at a lower temperature than traditional saunas - ours go up to 65°C - which means you can comfortably sauna for longer, while generating an intense sweat.
The benefits of infrared sauna include:

- Relieving muscle pain
- Alleviating joint pain and stiffness
- Enhancing mental well-being
- Improving sleep quality
- Enhancing skin health
Our Kneipp inspired immersion therapy involves rapid cooling of the extremities, in line with German style of sauna. This is done using an in-room ice-water foot bath and hand basin. Engaging in Kneipp is said to stimulate circulation, metabolism, the nervous system, and revitalise the body.
