Our privacy is important to us, and your privacy is no different.

 

It is SchwitZen policy to respect your privacy regarding any information collected online or in-house. This privacy policy has been developed so you can understand how we may collect, use, communicate or disclose of any personal information.

 

The booking process will collect necessary personal information (name, DOB, email and phone number) purely for the purpose of booking and confirming services. Before your first sauna with us, you will need to confirm that you have been made aware of, and accept any associated risks of engaging in sauna.

 

SchwitZen Saunas will protect any personal information by using reasonable security safeguards against loss, theft, unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. Information will only be shared if legally required.

 

We have our website hosted with Wix. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage or databases, which are secure servers behind a firewall. Wix also uses data encryption using SSL, HTTPS, TLS 1.3 and DDoS. Wix uses cookies to keep track of settings and actions that have been made on a site to make the user experience better, and to monitor and analyse the operation, performance and safety of the platform.

Our scheduling software is through Acuity, which is a part of the Squarespace suite. They are based in the US but must comply with data and privacy laws (including Australias Privacy Act). 

 

We mostly only enjoy the type of cookies that you can eat, so while it might be a little bit annoying, we think it’s important to have a cookie banner at the bottom of our home screen so YOU can choose which cookies Wix can use to optimise your individual online session.

 

You may opt-out at any time of having your data stored. Please contact us at info@schwitzensaunas.com.au to request it be deleted.
